The Top Twenty Singles of 2019 in the U.S. As Of Week 16

It is certainly looking like the year of both Post Malone and Ariana Grande as each artist has two tracks in the top eight for the year, so far while Grande has four and Malone three in the top fifty.

Elsewhere, Cardi B has five in the top fifty of the year but only three have her as the main artist while she is supporting Maroon 5 and DJ Snake on the other two. Others having multiple entries include Bad Bunny (one as main artist, one featuring with Cardi B), Bruno Mars  (two supporting Cardi B and Gucci Mane), Swae Lee (two supporting Post Malone and Ellie Goulding/Diplo) and Billie Eilish (two).
