Jack White is Set For His Third Straight Number 1 Studio Album

by VVN Music

Jack White's new album, Boarding House Reach, is a sure thing for number 1 next week on the strength of pure sales.

The album sold an estimated 122,700 according to Hits magazine, four-times the second place album, The Greatest Showman soundtrack.

When streaming is added in, White jumps to 126,300 units which remains well ahead of ? by XXXTentacion whose sales plus streaming came out to an estimated 77,900.

Toni Braxton has the third biggest selling album of the week even though she only sold 12,200 copies of Sex and Cigarettes. Streaming only boosted her total to 16,000 so expect the album to premier in the Billboard 200 in the high 20's.

Contemporary Christian veterans MercyMe continue their march up the charts in their fourth week of release. I Can Only Imagine: The Very Best of MercyMe has seen bigger sales each week with a jump of 33% to 7,900 last week putting it at 8 in pure sales.  Add in streaming and it will move to the low 20's or high 30's.

The Finnish band Nightwish sold an estimated 6,100 copies of their new album Decades to place at 17 on the Hits sales chart. They didn't gain enough from streaming to place in the overall top 50.

Final numbers will be out on Tuesday.
