- 1965 - The Beatles worked on the first day of filming on Help!
- 1970 - Jimmy Page spit on a fan after a Led Zeppelin concert in Sweden after the fan played harmonica along with one of their songs.
- 1972 - Led Zeppelin played their first show in New Zealand. 25,000 attended, the biggest crowd ever in the country to date.
- 1977 - The Jam signed with Polydor Records.
- 1981 - Christopher Cross became the first and only artist (to date) to sweep the top four categories at the Grammy Awards.
