- 1972 - Charlie Watts' wife was arrested at Nice Airport after an altercation with a customs official.
- 1974 - Bob Dylan hit the top of the Album chart for the first time in his career with Planet Waves.
- 1974 - Emerson, Lake & Palmer were arrested in Salt Lake City for swimming naked in their hotel pool.
- 1975 - Marty Robbins was involved in a crash at the Daytona 500.
