Before she died on November 18, 2016, the great Sharon Jones and her band The Dap Kings went in the studio to record a final album.
Soul of a Woman was released a day before the first anniversary of Sharon's death (November 17, 2017) and appeared on a number of year-end Best of lists. Included on that album was the track "Searching For a New Day" which now has an official video.
