The Hall of Heavy Metal History Ready to Induct Their Second Class

The new Hall of Heavy Metal History will induct their second class of artists on Wednesday (January 24) night at the Anaheim Wyndham Garden Grove in Anaheim CA.

This years inductees are:
  • Bill Ward (Black Sabbath, Ward One)
  • Lzzy Hale (Halestorm)
  • Billy Sheehan (David Lee Roth, Mr. Big, The Winery Dogs)
  • Carmine Appice (Ozzy, Michael Schenker, Paul Stanley), Induction by Vinny Appice
  • Anvil
  • Jordan Rudess (Dream Theater, Rudess/Morgenstein)
  • Riot
  • Metal Mike Chlasciak (Halford, Painmuseum, Courtesy of Marshall Amps)
  • Munsey Ricci (President, Skateboard Marketing)
  • Exodus
  • Sammy Ash (COO Sam Ash Music)
  • Elliott Rubinson (Dean Guitars, with Rubinson family accepting the Induction)
Eddie Trunk is hosting the evening which will also include performances by Carmine and Vinny Appice and surprise guests.

The Hall of Heavy Metal History is not only dedicated to the great artists of metal, but is also involved in the fight against pediatric cancer. "In the United States, Cancer is the second leading cause of death in children after accidents. Thousands of children younger than 15 years old are expected to die from cancer in 2016 alone. Together we can help make a difference. Awareness is key in fighting horrific diseases, and The Hall of Heavy Metal History helps bring awareness in an effort to help these children and their families."

The Hall of Heavy Metal History is part of the non-profit organization D.A.D. (Drums and Disabilities), where celebrities, sports stars, law enforcement agencies, the United States Department of Defense, and major corporations join to help special needs children and wounded soldiers on a Global basis. D.A.D. and the Hall of Heavy Metal History also join with the Ronnie James Dio Stand Up And Shout Cancer Fund.
