Green Day Billie Joe Armstrong Criticizes Donald Trump Button Comment, Tells Fan to Stop Listening to His Music

by VVN Music

Once again, a music artist has told a fan to stop supporting them if they are a fan of Donald Trump.

Last May (2017), Todd Rundgren told Chris Willman of Variety "If I had the power, I’d say: If you’re a Trump supporter, don’t come to my show, because you won’t have a good time."

Today, Green Day's Billie Joe Armstrong took it a step further by actually telling a fan to stop listening to his music.

It all started on Tuesday (January 2) when Donald Trump issued one of his many Tweets, saying "North Korean Leader Kim Jong Un just stated that the "Nuclear Button is on his desk at all times." Will someone from his depleted and food starved regime please inform him that I too have a Nuclear Button, but it is a much bigger & more powerful one than his, and my Button works!"

A whole swath of the country was not happy with the incendiary comment but Armstrong took it the extra yard by posting "This isn’t funny. This is our president acting like a madman drunk on power THREATENING to kill innocent starving people by way of nuclear war. The 25th amendment needs to be enforced. This man is sick and unfit for office. I don’t care if your liberal or conservative.. this has to stop . Please share #impeachtrump"

A Green Day fan told Armstrong that they have the right to support Trump and that Billie Joe's statement would do nothing to sway a Trump supporter, forcing Armstrong to lash out:

Well then go fuck your self you stupid piece of shit. If that’s the way you feel about mass destruction and murder then fuck off. Stay the fuck off my Instagram and don’t come back.

Don’t listen to my fucking records. I have no problem telling ignorant fucks like you to go to hell. That goes for any other stupid fucks that think this behavior should normalized. Get the fuck out!
