Listen: Mark Hoppus of Blink-182 Releases Song For ASPCA's Benefit Album For Dogs in Hurricane

by VVN Music

A new album, Dog Songs, which has been released to benefit the ASPCA and their campaign to help dogs affected by Hurricane Harvey (although it wouldn't be far fetched to see it extended to Irma), includes a track by Blink-182's Mark Hoppus.

Each song on the album is dedicated to a famous canine and Hoppus chose to make his, "Not Every Dog Goes to Heaven" for Dinky, the dog in National Lampoon's Vacation that met his demise attached to the back of the car.

Fellow Blink-182 drummer Travis Barker joins him on drums for the track.

Other songs on the album include tributes to the dogs on The Simpsons by Allie Goertz, Beethoven by Mike Krol and Carrie Fisher's dog by Nerf Herder along with a number of others by mainly independent artists.
