Looks like Ozzy Osbourne is done resting after the Black Sabbath farewell tour as he is getting ready to go on the road with former band guitarist Zakk Wylde.

Ozzy and Zakk have played together numerous times over Osbourne's solo career. Between 1987 and 1992, Wylde was a major contributor of songs to Ozzy's repertoire and appeared on the albums No Rest For the Wicked (1988) and No More Tears (1991) and returned to work with Osbourne on Ozzmosis (1995). The two reunited from 2001 to 2004 for Down to Earth (2001) and Live at Budokan (2002) and again from 2006 to 2009 during which they recorded Black Rain (2007).

For the new tour, which starts on July 14, Ozzy and Zakk will be joined by Rob "Blasko" Nicholson on bass, Adam Wakeman on keyboards and Tommy Clufetos on drums.

Ozzy said "I’m so happy to be getting back on the road with Zakk, Blasko, Tommy and Adam. This is what I do. This is where I belong, on the road."

Zakk added "I’m really looking forward to The HARDCORE POWAHLIFTING TRAINING SESSIONS with OZZY as well as playing music in between sets of HEAVY SQUATS, BENCHING and DEADLIFTS."

Also on tap, a new album which they plan for 2018 via Epic.

So far, Osbourne has only announced three festival appearances and one additional date but promises there are more to come that will last through the fall.
