Adele names her albums after her age when they were recorded. So did Rick Astley with his latest.

Now, Vera Lynn has taken the same road but hers is so much more impressive. 100, the new compilation by the singer who just became a centenarian, debuts at number 3 on the British charts this week.

Lynn hasn't released an original studio album since 1984's Vera Lynn Remembers yet she has been a regular on the British charts ever since, even going to number 1 in 2009 with the collection We'll Meet Again: The Very Best of Vera Lynn.

Plus, it's not the only Vera Lynn album to debut this week. At 45 is another new collection, Her Greatest Hits From Abbey Road.

Depeche Mode start at number 5 with their latest, Spirit, a drop from their last two albums, Sounds of the Universe (2009) and Delta Machine (2013), both of which opened at number 2.

Even so, the band's fourteenth album continues their run of top tens that goes back to their debut, Speak & Spell (1981 / #10).

At 76 is the premier of Spoon and Hot Thoughts, giving the group their first charting album in the U.K.

Finally, former Pulp lead Jarvis Cocker and Canadian Chilly Gonzalez open at 88 with Room 29. Cocker's last album, 2009's "Further Complications", debuted at 19.

Ed Sheeran tops the British Albums chart for the third week in a row with Divide followed by the debut of Drake's More Life, Vera Lynn, Human by Rag'N'Bone Man and Depeche Mode.

You could seriously question in what decade you are as the Beatles' Sgt. Pepper's Lonely Hearts Club Band tops the vinyl albums chart while Nirvana is number 1 on the Rock & Metal Albums with Nevermind. The Rolling Stones continue their multi-month run at the top of the Jazz & Blues Albums with Blue & Lonesome and Alison Krauss' Windy City leads the Country Artist Albums.

Ed Sheeran still has four of the top ten Singles and all of the top three with Shape of You, Galway Girl and Castle on the Hill.  The four and five spots go to Passionfruit by Drake and Something Just Like This by the Chainsmokers and Coldplay.

David Bowie is at number 1 on the Physical Singles chart with No Plan and Hifi Sean Featuring Crystal Waters tops the vinyl singles on Testify.
