Glenn Danzig Assembles the First Blackest of the Black Destintation Festival

by VVN Music

Glenn Danzig, whose career has taken him through the Misfits, Samhain and his own Danzig, has always had a serious dark streak running through everything he creates, so it isn't surprising that he would put together a brand new festival that has a similar dark feel.

The first Blackest of the Black Destination Festival is set for Friday, May 26 and Saturday, May 27 at Oak Canyon Park in Orange County, CA where, along with some heavy music, there will be a number of other events including a roaming freak show filled with contortionists, demons, and more, thrill rides, and a Sugar Skull contest. The main attraction, Castle Danzig, is an interactive walk through with a number of activations. Within the vicinity of the eerie castle and courtyard, attendees will find a sacrifice altar, bondage stage, suspension stage, electro stage, blood bath, a padded cell, stocks, cage dancers, and more.

Then there is the music, led by Suicidal Tendencies on Friday and Danzig on Saturday.
