David Bowie, Beyonce, A Tribe Called Quest Win at the Brit Awards

Over thirteen months after his death, David Bowie has dominated the 2017 BRIT Awards.

Bowie won two over the evening, British Male Artist and Album of the Year for his final set, Blackstar.

Bowie's son, Duncan, accepted the Album Award, saying that the award was "for the kooks and all the people who make the kooks." His Male Vocalist award was accepted by Michael C. Hall who said "If David Bowie could be here tonight, he probably wouldn't be here tonight."

Beyonce also took home an award for International Female Solo Act as did A Tribe Called Quest for International Group.

In addition, Robbie Williams accepted his previously announced honor as BRIT Icon. Williams closed the show with a performance of The Heavy Entertainment Show, Love My Life and Mixed Signals.
