Set List: Sting, Bruce Springsteen, James Taylor, Ronnie Spector, Darlene Love & More at the Rainforest Fund Benefit

by VVN Music

Last night, Carnegie Hall in New York was filled with the sounds of the season at Sting and Trudie Styler's Rainforest Fund Benefit concert.

Joining them for the night were a long list of guests including Bruce Springsteen, James Taylor, Darlene Love, Ronnie Spector, Idina Menzel, Chris Botti and late addition Jennifer Nettles.

In general, the music came from the holiday catalog, going back far in time with Sting's Cherry Tree Carol and up-to-date with Menzel singing her now signature song Let It Go from the wintry themed movie Frozen. The only exceptions were two arias by Vittorio Grigolo, Sting's performance of Empty Chair and Springsteen ending his set with Tenth Avenue Freeze Out (but, hey, it has "freeze" in the title).

The set list:
  • Winter Wonderland - James Taylor and Chris Botti
  • Soul Cake - Sting
  • Let It Go - Idina Menzel
