Country's Jan Howard Recovering From a Broken Back

It has been reported that country star Jan Howard is currently in a rehabilitation facility after breaking her back.

While there are no further details, the following was posted on her Facebook page:
GET WELL JAN!!! Jan is doing okay, but she's currently in a rehab facility due to a fractured back. Her sense of humor is intact though - and she says that if you hear rumors she’s in “rehab” because of drugs or alcohol, go ahead and pass them on - she’ll take any publicity she can get. Seriously, Jan sincerely appreciates your concerns, your thoughts, and your prayers while she's been on the mend. Get well cards can be sent to Jan in care of the Grand Ole Opry, 2804 Opryland Drive, Nashville, TN 37214.
Howard, 86, has been a Nashville favorite since the late-50's when she had her first hit, The One You Slip Around With (1959 / #13 Country). Her other top tens include Evil On Your Mind (1966 / #5 Country), Bad Seed (1966 / #10 Country) and four with singing partner Bill Anderson, For Loving You (1967 / #1 Country), If It's All the Same to You (1969 / #2 Country), Someday We'll Be Together (1970 / #4 Country) and Dis-satisfied (1971 / #4 Country).

She has been a member of the Grand Ole Opry since 1971.
