Randy Travis Looking Fit in First Picture Since Illness

Country singer Randy Travis may finally be on the mend. Seven months after major brain surgery and six months since being moved to a rehabilitation center, Randy was photographed with fellow country star Neal McCoy at a recent benefit concert.
McCoy posted the picture on his official Facebook page along with the following message:
Randy Travis and I recently backstage before I went on, at a Smiles For Life concert in Dallas Texas. Pretty honored this was Randy's first time out and his first time to have Cowboy boots on since his illness.
Gettin Better!!!
Travis was hospitalized in critical condition on July 7, 2013 due to viral cardiomyopathy. On July 10, he suffered a stroke and underwent surgery to remove a blood clot. Reports continued to come out on a near daily basis reporting the Travis was awake but would have a very long road back to recover, one that included his transfer to a long-term rehabilitation facility at the end of July.

Travis has had sixteen number 1 singles in his 36 year recording career including Forever and Ever, Amen, Diggin' Up Bones and Three Wooden Crosses. McCoy has also hit the summit of the chart with No Doubt About It and Wink.
