Garth Brooks Releasing Four-CD Set of Classic Music (and Eight CD/DVD Set Through Wal-Mart)

Garth Brooks surprised the music world on Saturday during a special on GAC by saying that he would have a new album out before the end of November.
Blame It All On My Roots: Five Decades of Influences will include four discs of songs that he has been performing during his Las Vegas residency by artists as diverse as Conway Twitty, Marvin Gaye and Jerry Lee Lewis.

No track listing is out yet but multiple sites are reporting that the set will contain forty songs, ten on each disc, with the CDs themed as Country Classics, Classic Rock, Blue-Eyed Soul (R&B) and Melting Pot (Folk).

If that isn't enough, the leaked ad for Wal-Mart has a special eight-disc set that includes those four discs plus a DVD of Live From the Encore Theatre, the previously released 2-CD set The Ultimate Hits and the DVD of The Ultimate Hits. For Black Friday, all of that is rumored to be available for $24.96 (November 28 through December 1).

The full track listing is expected to be out within the next one to two days.
