Sammy Hagar has brought together a long list of rock greats for his upcoming album, Sammy Hagar and Friends, out September 24 on Frontiers Records.

The release will see Hagar joining forces with award-winning artists including Kid Rock, Nancy Wilson (Heart), Joe Satriani (Chickenfoot), Ronnie Dunn (Brooks & Dunn), Neal Schon (Santana, Journey, HSAS), Chad Smith (Red Hot Chili Peppers, Chickenfoot), Michael Anthony (Chickenfoot, Van Halen), Bill Church & Denny Carmassi (Montrose), The Wabos and more on an collection of 10 new songs and unexpected covers. The set was produced by Hagar and Grammy winning engineer/producer, John Cuniberti.

Among the covers are Bob Seger's Ramblin' Gamblin' Man (with David Lauser, Mona Gnader & Vic Johnson of the Wabos), Jimmy Buffett's Margaritaville (with Toby Keith) and Depeche Mode's Personal Jesus (with Neal Schon, Michael Anthony and Chad Smith).

A deluxe version of the album adds the track Space Station #5, recorded at the Ronnie Montrose Tribute Concert with Danny Carmassi, Bill Church and Joe Satriani.
