John Fogerty to Play Complete CCR Albums During Upcoming Tour

John Fogerty will definitely be digging deep into the Creedence Clearwater catalog during his upcoming tour.

Fogerty turned 68 yesterday and, to celebrate, released his latest album, the duet project Wrote a Song For Everyone. While that album does have some unique versions of both CCR and solo classics, John has decided that the upcoming tour will also feature one of two Creedence albums at each of the stops.

Depending on the date, Fogerty will be playing either Bayou Country or Cosmo's Factory in their entirety. Bayou Country, released in January of 1969, includes the CCR classic Proud Mary along with Born on the Bayou, Keep on Chooglin' and four more. Cosmo's Factory, from July of 1970, is the album that contains the most CCR hits and classic tracks, including Travelin' Band, Lookin' Out My Back Door, Run Through the Jungle, Up Around the Bend, Who'll Stop the Rain, Long As I Can See the Light and their 11-minute cover of I Heard It Through the Grapevine.

Only the first five dates have been announced with the promise of many more to come. There has also been no indication of which album will be played on each date.
