Paul McCartney's Manager Says Deluxe Wings Over America, RockShow DVD Coming

Scott Rodger, the current manager for Paul McCartney, appeared on the web series This Week In Music With Ian Rogers, revealing the artists upcoming projects.

Up next in the archives series is the spectacular live album Wings Across America. Originally issued as a three-LP set in 1976, the album is one of the finest examples of live documentation of a tour. Nothing was said about what would be included in the deluxe packages but here's hoping that one or more complete shows from the tour will be included along with the original album that assembled the best performances from a number of stops.

Also in the works is the first complete version of the concert film Rockshow on DVD (and, presumably, Blu-Ray). This time around, all thirty songs from the original theatrical film will be included instead of the cut-down versions that had previously been released on home video.

Rodger also revealed that McCartney is currently recording a new studio album which should be out in the first quarter of next year.

The full, almost one-hour video, can be seen at the This Week In site.
