Journey and Foreigner Announce Three-Month U.S. Tour

RevelationTwo of the very biggest of the arena rock bands from the late-70's and early-80's are teaming up for a three-month tour of the U.S.  Journey and Foreigner will start their trek on July 21 in Salt Lake City and won't stop until October 21 in Seattle, WA.

Can't Slow DownBoth groups have had a resurgence in the last couple of years through successful alliances with Wal-Mart.  Journey is about to once again go the exclusive route, which worked very successfully with 2009's Revelation, when Eclipse is released on May 24.  Foreigner also released their album Can't Slow Down through the chain in 2009 and will release a new 2-CD/DVD set before the tour featuring new digital studio recordings of their greatest hits with a few new songs, a new live CD and a DVD of their performance for PBS' Public Television Rocks! which they will be shooting on March 26 and 27.

Foreigner's Mick Jones said "This will be one of the main events of the summer.  Bands who represent the magic era in Classic Rock together for the first time in ten years.  Get ready to rock!"

Journey's Neal Schon added "We haven’t toured with Foreigner for over 10 years, so we’re really looking forward to this run."
