Slayer's Jeff Hanneman Pulls Out of Tour After Spider Bite Turns Bad

World Painted BloodJeff Hanneman, guitarist for Slayer, has been forced to pull out of the group's upcoming tour after a spider bite advanced into necrotising fasciitis.

He will have to pull out of their forthcoming shows to have surgery and recover.

The band will be getting a fill-in guitarist for their shows, which include their Soundwave sets.

Their other guitarist Kerry King said in a statement, “After everything that’s happened we all agreed that we just can’t let our fans down again.”

He continued, “Jeff is totally on board with the decision, so we will tour as planned. We can’t pinpoint what day he’ll be back, but it will be as soon as he possibly can. We can’t wait for him to get better and get his ass back on the road.”

So metal. Get well, Jeff.
