Roger Daltrey Tells Crowd He's "Very, Very Deaf" and Urges Wearing Earplugs; First Single in 26 Years Out Tomorrow

by VVN Music

Roger Daltrey has told concertgoers that they really need to buy earplugs.

The Who singer was performing his solo show in Las Vegas recently where he took the time to tell the audience about the ear monitors he now wears "The trouble with these ear things that I wear is that I am very, very deaf. I advise you all – all you rock-and-roll fans – take your fucking earplugs to the gigs."

He went on to add that "If only we had known when we were young ... we are lip-reading" adding that he remains very thankful for his career and plans on performing "for a long time".

In addition, Daltrey will be a guest on The Chris Evans Breakfast Show on BBC Radio 2 tomorrow morning to unveil his first solo single in 26 years along with another "massive announcement".
