Rhino Records has announced a special 50th anniversary of the album Forever Changes by Love.

The final album for the band in its original form, it was originally released on November 1, 1967 and included members Arthur Lee, Bryan MacLean, Johnny Echols, Ken Forssi and Michael Stewart along with a number of studio musicians including Carol Kaye, Don Randi, Billy Strange and Hal Blaine.  In addition, Neil Young arranged the song "The Daily Planet".

The album was relatively unsuccessful when first released, peaking at only 154 on the Billboard 200, but has picked up its reputation over the years among critics and fans.

The new edition includes four-CDs, including the original album, a mono mix, an alternate mix and singles and outtakes, a DVD with a 24/96 stereo mix along with a rare promotional video, Your Mind and We Belong Together.

Finally, a vinyl album includes the original stereo mix.

Also included is a 12x12 hardbound book with a newly written essay and track-by-track notes by historian Ted Olsen.
