  • 1981 - Johnny Paycheck was arrested for allegedly having sex with a twelve-year-old girl.

  • 2000 - Paul McCartney did his first-ever book signing in London for his book of paintings.
  • 2000 - The Rock and Roll Hall of Fame announced that Michael Jackson, Paul Simon, Aerosmith, Queen, Steely Dan, Solomon Burke, Richie Valens and the Flamingos would be inducted in 2001.
