Set List: Rolling Stones Open Their No Filter Tour With Some Rarities

by Paul Cashmere, Noise11

The Rolling Stones have drilled down to 1973 for the first show of 2017, opening night of the No Filter tour in Hamburg Germany.

‘Dancing With Mr D’ made the setlist. The Stones have not played the song live since October 1973.

The first No Filter show had a few other surprises. ‘Play With Fire’ was played for the first time since 1990, ‘Under My Thumb’ resurfaced for the first time since 2006.

The other wildcard was the opening track. ‘Sympathy For The Devil’ has never been an opening song for a Stones gig until this show although it is a staple of every show. The usual opener for years is generally ‘Jumping Jack Flash’ or ‘Start Me Up’.

The Stones next gig is in Munich on September 12.
