Listen: Bob Dylan's Nobel Prize Lecture

by VVN Music

Bob Dylan has finally fulfilled his obligation to the Nobel Prize committee by submitting his lecture in audio form.

Dylan was awarded the Nobel Prize for Literature last year which comes with a prize of $922,000; however, the money is not presented until after the winner gives a lecture.

The singer did not attend the awards ceremony and had, until now, not completed his lecture but, on Monday (June 5), audio of said talk surfaced, recorded on Sunday (June 4) in Los Angeles.

The talk is a produced piece of audio with a piano playing in the background throughout. Dylan talks about Buddy Holly, Leadbelly, books that influenced him and the follies of war.
