Radiohead Posts Odd Video to Add to the Rumors of an "OK Computer" Anniversary Release

by VVN Music

Radiohead seems to be pointing to a 20th anniversary release of their classic album OK Computer, but they are doing it in a very cryptic way.

Last week, posters started showing up in major cities like New York, Los Angeles, London, Berlin and Amsterdam that have had a number of clues according to fans of the band including the dates 1997-2017 (the album was released in 1997), lyrics in the style of the song Fitter Happier from the album and a presentation akin to the art from the album.

While the band would not comment on the posters, they, themselves, posted a cryptic video on their Twitter account on Monday morning.

OK Computer was Radiohead's third studio album and is considered one of their very finest. Released on May 21, 1997, the record label executives didn't expect much as they felt the album was un-commercial but it became a hit in the U.K., giving the band their first number 1 album, and peaked at 21 in the U.S., well above the band's previous two albums. To date, it is two-times Platinum in the U.S. and five-times Platinum in the U.K.
