David Bowie Selling Big on Vinyl in the U.K.

So far in 2017, David Bowie is a big seller in the U.K. when it comes to vinyl.

Bowie has three of the top 40 selling vinyl albums in Britain for the first three months of the year with Legacy (#3), Blackstar (#13) and The Rise and Fall of Ziggy Stardust (#31). Bowie trails just Divide by Ed Sheeran and and Back to Black by Amy Winehouse.

Other veteran artists on the albums list includes the Beatles (Abbey Road, Sgt. Pepper), Fleetwood Mac (Rumours), Pink Floyd (The Dark Side of the Moon, Wish You Were Here), Bob Marley (Legend), Nirvana (Nevermind, Unplugged in New York) and Queen (Greatest Hits).

On the Vinyl Singles side, Bowie is at number 1 with Sound and Vision with the Buzzcocks' Spiral Scratch at 2 and Blondie's Fun at 3. Bowie also makes the singles top 40 with Sue (or In a Season of Crime) (#28) while Blondie is also at number 6 with Long Time.

Other veterans on the Singles chart include George Michael (Freedom), Crystal Waters (Testify), the Stone Roses (All For One), and Oasis (Stand By Me)
