Tom DeLonge...UFO Hunter; ex-Blink-182 Guitarist Wins UFO Researcher Award

by VVN Music

Who needs the adulation of millions as a rock star. Former Blink-182 guitarist Tom DeLonge has found a brand new calling, UFO's.

DeLonge left Blink-182 in 2014 due to differences with the other members on rigorous touring schedules and other differing priorities but he didn't drop out of music completely. He formed the band Angels and Airwaves before rejoining his former band from 2009 through 2015 when he once again left due to differences over professional priorities.

On the side, though, DeLonge has always been fascinated by Unidentified Flying Objects (UFOs) and, unbeknownst to fans, has dug fairly deeply into the subject including two letters he wrote to John Podesta that became known as part of the Wikileaks documents.

Last week, DeLonge was named the UFO Researcher of the Year for 2017 at the International UFO Congress.

This video, which was shown at the conference, lays out the reason that DeLonge was selected followed by his acceptance speech.  In it, Tom teases that he has more research and information to come.

Over the last two years, DeLonge has been growing a new company called To The Stars that is dedicated to all things UFO oriented. Next week, he also releases the first book in a series, Sekret Machines: Gods: Volume 1 of Gods, Man & War.
