Jerry Lee Lewis Suing Daughter & Husband For Elder Abuse and Misappropriation of Money

Jerry Lee Lewis has filed a lawsuit against his daughter alleging over how she treated him while she was his manager and for the misappropriation of money.

Lewis, 81, was managed by daughter Phoebe from 2000 to 2012 and, according to court papers, sent Lewis out on long tours, even though he wasn't in the best of health, and when he was off the road, made him live in a mold infested home where he had to wear an oxygen mask.

According to TMZ, Lewis says she also made him take a combination of drugs to "keep him under control."

The suit against his daughter wasn't the only litigation initiated by Lewis last week. He also filed suit against Phoebe's husband, Ezekiel Loftin, over $5 million that he allegedly spent of Lewis' money during those same years. Since the original suit was filed, Lewis has added Phoebe's name.

Lewis released his two most successful late-career albums during the time that Phoebe and Ezekiel were controlling his career, Last Man Standing (2006 / #26) and Mean Old Man (2010 / #30).
