You've got your Coachella and your Bonnaroo and about a thousand other festivals every year, but very few can approach The Glastonbury Festival of Contemporary Performing Arts.

Held every year at Worthy Farm, Pilton, Somerset, England, the yearly show not only highlights the best of new music, but also fills its ranks with some of the best veteran artists in the world, including the classic artists slot that has given huge, later career, boosts to artists like Dolly Parton and Lionel Richie.

Earlier today, the initial lineup for Glastonbury 2017 was announced with veterans Radiohead and Foo Fighters taking two of the three headliners spots. Ed Sheeran has the third. The Foo Fighters are playing a makeup date after being scheduled for the 2015 show but having to cancel when Dave Grohl fell off of a stage and broke his ankle.

As for other veterans, look for Barry Gibb, Chic, Kris Kristofferson, the Jacksons, Toots & the Maytals, the Flaming Lips, Ani DiFranco, Shaggy and Martha Wainwright with additional acts still to be announced.
