Daryl Hall & John Oates and Tears For Fears to Co-Headline This Summer

by VVN Music

Two of the biggest acts of the 80's are joining forces for a co-headlining tour this coming summer.

Daryl Hall & John Oates are Rock and Roll Hall of Famers and the biggest selling duo of all time with hits like Maneater, Rich Girl, Private Eyes and Kiss on My List.

Tears For Fears, also now a duo with Curt Smith and Roland Orzabel, had their own string of hits with Everybody Wants to Rule the World, Shout and Sowing the Seeds of Love.

The two acts have set 29 dates between May 4 and July 28, hitting such cities as Miami, Toronto, Washington, Dallas and Los Angeles.  Allen Stone will open the evening.

Daryl Hall said of the tour "I am very excited to be touring with Tears for Fears. Their music has a timeless quality that complements what we do. I think everyone is going to love this show!"

The members of Tears for Fears added "We're thrilled to be going out on the road with Daryl Hall & John Oates this summer. We've been longtime fans of the band so it'll be fun to reconnect and also to see our fans throughout the U.S."
