Colin Blunstone Illness Causes Zombies to Cancel Boston Show
The Zombies' Colin Blunstone is under the weather, causing the band to cancel their Tuesday night (March 28) show at the Wilbur Theatre in Boston.
The Zombies are in the middle of their Odessey & Oracle 50th Anniversary Tour, playing a set of hits and deep cuts, including Argent's Hold Your Head Up, followed by a second set complete performance of the 1968 album Odessey & Oracle.
On Tuesday afternoon, the band announced that their show was cancelled after Blunstone was diagnosed with "severe bacterial infection".
We're very sorry to inform you that tonight's show at the Wilbur Theatre in Boston is cancelled. The Zombies had played at Town Hall in New York on Saturday and are scheduled to complete the tour with four straight nights starting Thursday in Ridgefield, CT followed by Northampton, MA (Friday), Montreal (Saturday) and Toronto (Sunday).
