Bob Dylan Taking His Standards on the Road This Summer in the U.S. and Canada

by VVN Music

On March 31, Bob Dylan is upping the ante on his devotion to the standards of the Great American Songbook with his first-ever three-disc original studio album, Triplicate.

The set includes discs three, four and five of Dylan's interpretations of songs from the 30's through the 60's written by some of America's greatest pre-Rock songwriters and he has been liberally peppering his shows over the last couple of years with those standards along with the rest of his vast catalog.

Starting April 1, he will be spending a month-and-a-half in Europe before coming home for eight U.S. dates and eighteen shows across Canada running through the end of July.

Tickets for the U.S. and Canadian shows go on sale this Friday, March 24.
