Reba McEntire Debuts at 4 in the U.S. With Faith Based Album

by VVN Music

Reba McEntire scores her tenth top ten album on the Billboard 200 and her seventh to make the top five with Sing It Now: Songs of Hope and Faith.

The faith based album with one CD of traditional hymns and one CD of originals, opens at number 4, coming in one spot lower than her last album, 2015's Love Somebody.

Sing It Now is also at the top of the Country and the Christian Albums charts. It is Reba's twelfth Country chart topper.

Another country veteran, LeAnn Rimes, opens at 88 with Remnants. It is the singer's lowest charting album on the Billboard 200, falling below 2013's Spitfire which peaked at 36.

Cece Winans premiers at 103 with Let Them Fall in Love, her first to chart since Thy Kingdom Come (2008 / #57).

At 114 is the debut of Less Than Jake's Sound the Alarm, bettering their last release, See the Light (2013 / #154). Of the seven studio albums the band has put in the Billboard 200, Alarm is the second lowest charting.

Beth Hart has the highest charting album of her 24 year recording career with Fire On the Floor. Debuting at 115, the album beats out 2015's Better Than Home which went to 133. Fire is also the number 1 Blues album for the week.

Finally, Wyclef Jean opens at 117 with the album J'ouvert, a good increase over his 2009 set From the Hut, the the Projects, to the Mansion which only made it to 171.
