Paul McCartney, Joe Walsh, Timothy B. Schmit & More Join Ringo Starr in the Studio

by VVN Music

For only the second time this decade, Paul McCartney and Ringo Starr have entered the studio together.

Ringo let everyone know of the event in a Sunday Tweet saying "Thanks for coming over man and playing Great bass. I love you man peace and love."

Ringo is recording a new album, the followup to 2015's Postcards From Paradise. The last time he and McCartney were in a studio was in 2010 for another Ringo album, Y Not.

Paul isn't the only guest that will appear on the album. Ringo also posted other photos.

The new album, when it is released, will be Ringo's nineteenth since the breakup of the Beatles. His albums do considerably better in the U.S. than his U.K. home. 2010's Y Not went to 58 in America but didn't chart in Britain. Ringo 2012 went 80 U.S. / 181 U.K. and Postcards From Paradise logged 99 U.S. / 157 U.K.
