Diana Krall Announces New Album & Tour

by VVN Music

Diana Krall has announced a brand new album and supporting tour for 2017.

While there aren't a lot of details on the new set, it is known that Turn Up the Quiet will be out on May 5 via Verve Records and is a return to jazz and standards for the singer. Her last album, 2015's Wildflower, included more contemporary songs including California Dreamin', Desperado, I Can't Tell You Why and Don't Dream It's Over.

In support of the new set, Krall will embark on a world tour starting June 2 in Minneapolis, MN and running through August 9 in Phoeniz, AZ before traveling to Europe for September and October dates.

Diana Krall is the only jazz singer to have eight albums debut at the top of the Billboard Jazz Albums chart. To date, her albums have garnered five Grammy Awards, eight Juno Awards and have also earned nine gold, three platinum and seven multi-platinum albums.
