Real Gone to Release The Rascals' "Complete Singles A's and B's"

by VVN Music

During the second half of the 60's, it was rare that the Rascals were not a standard part of the AM radio playlist. From rockers like Good Lovin' and You Better Run to the ballads Groovin' and How Can I Be Sure, their records were the soundtrack for a generation.

On March 3, Real Gone has collected the full singles output of the Rascals on The Complete A's and B's. This two-CD set includes all of the hits plus those that didn't quite hit it big and all of the B-sides that may or may not have ever been issued on an album.

Included are all of their Atlantic Records output plus, for the first time ever on CD, their singles with Columbia Records. 28 of the 47 tracks on the album, especially the early releases, are in the original mono mix while the latter are in stereo from the time when mono was a relic of the past.

A booklet in the set includes a 4500-word essay by Ed Osborne along with rare photos, pictures sleeves and album covers.
