Arcade Fire are back with their first new song in four years and it features Mavis Staples.
Arcade Fire released the song as yet another anti-Trump statement. “It’s never been more important that we stick together & take care of each other,” they tweeted today.
Proceeds from the song will go to ACLU, the non-profit organization devoted to protecting basic civil liberties.
The last Arcade Fire album, Reflektor, was released in 2013. David Bowie was a special guest on the title track. In 2011, their album The Suburbs was the surprise winner for the Album of the Year Grammy.
