  • 1990 - Rob Pilatus and Fabrice Morvan were fired from Milli Vanilli by producer Frank Farin after they insisted on singing on their record.
  • 1990 - Pete Townshend stated in Newsweek magazine that he is bi-sexual.
  • 1991 - A riot at a New Kids on the Block concert in Berlin, Germany injurred over 1,000 people.
  • 1996 - Mel McDaniels touring days ended when he fell into an orchestra pit during a show in Lafayette, LA. He was severely injured and required a number of surgeries. 
  • 2000 - The trial of Michael Abram, the man who attacked George and Patti Harrison in their home, began.
  • 2000 - The retail chain HMV in the U.K. refused to stock the new single by the Offspring after the group gave it away as a free download on their site.
  • 2004 - The Rolling Stones were told they would have to go to arbitration instead of court in a dispute with Decca in the U.K. over unpaid royalties for the early tracks on their Forty Licks CD.
