Set List: Desert Trip Weekend 2 with The Who and Roger Waters (or If It Works, Why Change It)

by VVN Music

The first Desert Trip Festival came to a close on Sunday night with performances by The Who and Roger Waters.

Desert Trip was held at the same venue as the annual Coachella Festival and, like its predecessor, the lineup is duplicated over two weekends to accommodate the most fans as possible. On Friday night, Bob Dylan and the Rolling Stones took the stage and Saturday saw Neil Young and Paul McCartney and, at each show, the set list was varied slightly from weekend one.

Not for The Who and Roger Waters. Both acts duplicated their first weekend set to the song and running order.

The Who once again presented an overview of their career, going back to their very first album and including extended runs through Pete Townshends two "rock operas", Tommy and Quandrophenia.
