George Harrison Estate Thinks Donald Trump Should Have Used "Beware of Darkness" at Convention

by VVN Music

The estate of George Harrison has jumped into the fray of music artists criticizing Donald Trump's use of their music.

For Harrison, it was the use of Here Comes the Sun during the entrance of Trump daughter Ivanka on the stage Thursday night. She introduced her father for his acceptance speech.

A representative of the estate went on Twitter and Facebook to express their displeasure, but did it with a bit of levity.

The unauthorized use of ‪#‎HereComestheSun‬ at the ‪#‎RNCinCLE‬ is offensive & against the wishes of the George Harrison estate.

If it had been "Beware of Darkness" then we MAY have approved it!

The list of musicians objecting to the use of their music at the convention and on the road during the campaign includes Queen, Aerosmith, the Rolling Stones, Neil Young, Adele, R.E.M., Twisted Sister, Earth Wind and Fire and the O'Jays.
