Blink-182 Fall 3 to 13 in Third Week; Steven Tyler Gets Number 1 Country Album

by VVN Music

Blink-182 has the top selling album by a veteran artist in the U.S. for the third week in a row even though California drops 3 to 13. The album remains a major comeback story for the band.

The highest charting new album of the week goes to Steven Tyler's country debut, We're All Somebody From Somewhere. On the Billboard 200, it starts at number 19 but on the Country Albums, it is at number 1. That's a pretty spectacular reception for an album that has been gestating for almost two years.

Jeff Beck doesn't have quite as good news as his new set Loud Hailer opens at number 41. His last set, 2010's, Emotion and Commotion, began its chart run at 11 and the guitarist has had a number of albums chart better over the course of his career.

Here's Beck's albums listed in chart position order:

  • Blow by Blow (1975 / #4)
  • Emotion & Commotion (2010 / #11)
  • Beck, Bogert & Appice (1973 / #12)
