Monkees, Village People, Brett Michaels, KC & the Sunshine Band and Bad Company Set For AXS TV Live Series

AXS TV and its creator, Mark Cuban, have set a new live music series for Thursday nights this summer.

AXS TV Concerts Hosted by Mark Cuban will air for five weeks at 9 PM on Thursdays, offering concerts by five veteran artists filmed at The Bomb Factory in Dallas, TX.

The new series opens on August 11 with the Monkees and are followed by four more classic artists:
  • 08/11 - Monkees
  • 08/18 - Village People
  • 08/25 - Bret Michaels
  • 09/01 - KC & the Sunshine Band
  • 09/08 - Bad Company
Cuban, who curated the series, said "With this exclusive series, I wanted to craft a fun live concert event, giving viewers the best seat in the house to experience these legendary acts. From disco and funk to classics and metal, there's truly something here for everyone to enjoy as we send summer out on a high note with some of the most beloved anthems of all-time."

AXS TV is a partnership between Mark Cuban, AEG, Ryan Seacrest Media, Creative Artists Agency (CAA) and CBS. The network is available in the United States via AT&T U-verse, Charter, Comcast/Xfinity, DIRECTV, DISH, Suddenlink, Verizon FiOS, and other cable, satellite and telco providers.
