Pet Shop Boys Debut at Number 3 in Britain for 13th Straight Top Ten Album, Aled Jones Begins at 6

The Pet Shop Boys continue their amazing run of top ten albums in Britain with their new album, Super.

Super, which debuts at number 3, is the thirteenth album by the duo and their thirteenth straight album to make the British top ten albums.

In addition, their compillation album Discography (1991) went to number 3, the B-Side set, Alternative (1995) hit number 2 and the remix album Disco 2 (1994) went to number 6, giving them a total of sixteen top ten British albums. 

Also debuting in this weeks top ten, at number 6, is Aled Jones' One Voice. This is only his second top ten album out of the sixteen that have reached the top 100. The other was 1985's All Through the Night which peaked at number 2. 

At 20 is the premier of Atomic by Mogwai, the Scottish post-rock band who released their first singles twenty years ago in 1996. Atomic is their ninth studio album with the previous high being their last set, 2014's Rave Tapes, which went to number 10. 

Weezer begins at 24 with their new self-titled album also being called White Album. This is their highest charting album in the U.K. since 2008's Weezer (Red Album) that went to 21. 2005's Make Believe went to number 11, making it their highest charting album in Britain.
