David Bowie Has Three of Top Four Albums by Veteran Artists in the U.K.; Amon Amarth Debut at 30

David Bowie has three of the top four albums by veteran artists in the U.K. this week as Best of Bowie comes in at 8, Nothing Has Changed at 23 and Blackstar at 25. The only non-Bowie album to interrupt the run is last week's top selling album by a veteran artists, James' Girl at the End of the World, which dropped from 2 to 19.

The top debuting album by a veteran artist goes to Amon Amarth, the Swedish death metal band, which starts at 30 with Jomsviking. It's their third album to reach the British top 100 with 2013's Deceiver of the Gods making it to 67 and 2011's Surtur Rising hitting 75. This is their tenth studio album.

Bob Mould premiers at 54 with Patch of Sky, two short of his previous high album, Bob Mould (1996 / #52). Even though he started with Husker Du, he had his greatest success with the band Sugar, placing three albums in the British top ten from 1992 to 1994.
