Watch: Tony Visconti Gives Keynote at SXSW Including Stories on David Bowie

by Paul Cashmere, Noise11

One of the most interesting SXSW keynotes for 2016 were the stories of Tony Visconti and a lot of those stories revolve around his history with David Bowie.

When I first met him “my first thought was which eye do I look at because David had two different eyes”. But they loved the same music and a career that lasted from 1969’s Space Oddity to Bowie’s last album Blackstar began. “We were kin, we were brothers,” Visconti said.

Tony Visconti gave a one-hour keynote at SXSW and also covered his recordings for T.Rex, the Moody Blues and his and Bowie’s common movie interests.
