Jack Ingram Signs With Rounder Records For New Album, "Midnight Motel"

Country star Jack Ingram has signed with Rounder Records and will release his new album, Midnight Motel, in June.

Ingram released his self-titled debut in 1995 but he didn't breakout until his fifth set, 2002's Electric. In 2005, he hit the top of the Country Singles with Wherever You Are. His last album was 2009's Big Dreams & High Hopes.

Cliff O'Sullivan, COO of Rounder Records, said "Jack Ingram speaks from his heart, whether on a stage or in the studio. Midnight Motel is a return to the kind of raw songs and performances that made Jack fans from the early days of his career in Ft. Worth and all over Texas before becoming a nationally known artist in the past decade. We’re thrilled to have him join the Rounder Label Group family."

Midnight Motel was produced by Jon Randall and includes Charlie Sexton (guitar), Robert Kearns (drums) and Bukka Allen (bass).

Ingram has a busy month coming up. He is at SXSW next week in Austin to play music from the new album followed by The Life & Songs of Kris Kristofferson tribute concert in Nashville on March 16 along with shows at various Music City venues.
