Report: Yoko Ono Hospitalized After Possible Stroke (Updated)
Update: February 27 1:00 AM - New reports are now coming in that Ono was suffering from flu like symptoms and has not suffered a stroke.
Sean Ono Lennon posted on Twitter "Hey guys it was only rumors from press: was NOT a stroke, just dehydration/tired. She is FINE. Thank you everyone for your concern @yokoono"
Reports have surfaced that Yoko Ono was rushed to a Manhattan hospital around 9 PM on Friday night after stating that she thought she was having a stroke.
Ono is in Mount Siani West Hospital, according to police, which was the same hospital that John Lennon was taken after being shot in 1980; however, it was then called St. Luke's Roosevelt Hospital.
CBS News also reported that the New York Fire Department said she was unconscious at the time she was transported.
Ono, 83, was taken from her apartment at the Dakota where she lived with Lennon. She has remained an active recording artist over the years and is releasing her new album, Yes, I Am a Witch Too next Friday (March 4).
