Guns N' Roses, LCD Soundsystem, Calvin Harris Headlining Coachella

The Coachella Valley Music and Arts Festival has announced their lineup for the two-weekends of shows, naming Guns N' Roses, LCD Soundsystem and Calvin Harris as the headliners.

Being held April 15 to 17 and April 22 to 24, the two weekends will feature the same lineups. The (sort of) resurrected Guns N' Roses will top the bill on both Saturday nights while the also reunited LCD Soundsystem will play Friday nights.

It is a very lean year, the second in a row, for veteran artists at Coachella. Traditionally a festival that has embraced a wide variety of music from a number of eras, this year's lineup has once again skewed towards a few big names and a lot of up-and-comers.

On the veteran front, only Mavis Staples is playing on Friday while Ice Cube joins Guns N' Roses on Saturday. Deep down on Sunday's bill is John Digweed.

General sales of passes for the festival go on sale tomorrow (January 6) at 11 AM PT. General admission passes ($399) are already sold out for the first weekend while General Admission + Parking ($459) are available for both.
